Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Environmental and Sustainability projects for a short-term contract with our client based in Cupertino, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in and coordinate kick-off meetings with suppliers.
  • Communicate regularly with supplier and internal teams to ensure all required supplier data is submitted.
  • Facilitate the creation of enhanced cross-functional data management systems.
  • Coordinate between staff and external expert agencies to facilitate specific projects.
  • Collect and organize documentation of supply chain execution of commitments in external programs.
  • Perform document reviews for implementation, such as summarizing proposed program requirements, analyzing audit criteria, etc.
  • Coordinate and communicate with suppliers and external partners regarding matters of program participation, reporting, and verification.
  • Assist in outreach, evaluation, and follow-up to potential external partners.
  • Develop shared tools (chorus pages, specifications) for team and program outreach.
Required Experience:
  • Experience collaborating with product development teams, establishing and leading cross-functional sustainability projects, and influencing strategic business decisions.
  • You are an equal parts communicator, project manager, and strategic thinker who can:
    • Simplify technical content in order to communicate risk and solutions to suppliers and executives.
    • Execute on strategy and track progress against goals.
    • Collaborate, influence, and drive consensus among diverse technical, business, and external stakeholders.
    • Manage third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of program objectives.
    • Be flexible but action-oriented, capable of dealing with ambiguity.
    • Excel at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Minimum BA/BA degree, Master's degree preferred in an EHS field or MBA. At least 4+ years relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding of electronics technology, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in English.
