Role Overview

As a Strategic Operations Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in the agile development and implementation of significant strategic projects within the Product Operations team. A successful candidate will be a proactive leader and facilitator, possessing strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You will excel in program and project management, communicate effectively across all levels, and thrive in ambiguous situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring coherence across various departments.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of ownership and independence in advancing projects, proactively addressing challenges to achieve results.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders associated with the product operations team.
  • Delve into details and processes to comprehend underlying complexities and subtleties.
  • Influence teams and outcomes in areas that may not be traditionally linked to product operations.
  • Lead quality, cost, and labor initiatives across multiple contract manufacturers and product categories.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain, or product development, preferably in consumer electronics.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; a Master's degree or MBA is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in project management, operations, or consulting roles.
  • Adept at navigating and excelling in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex ideas and data clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical abilities for swift data collection, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Proven capability to build and sustain relationships across various organizational levels.
  • Experience with international and/or regional Product Safety, Environmental, EMC, and Regulatory standards or government affairs is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

At Apple, base salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a range. This structure allows for growth as you develop within your role. The base salary range for this position is between $119,900 and $181,000, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additionally, you will receive benefits such as comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a variety of discounted products and free services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses related to career advancement at Apple. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
