Key Responsibilities

- Lead and monitor compliance with Product Safety, Environmental, EMC, and Regulatory standards and their implications for Apple's operations.
- Create, refine, and maintain project timelines essential for the ongoing development of our internal regulatory tracking system.
- Supervise issue resolution and priority management among Engineering Project Managers to facilitate data-driven decision-making that affects product quality.
- Communicate and present updates to senior engineering leadership and executives to support swift decision-making throughout Apple's product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to devise strategies ensuring adherence to required standards and regulations.
- Manage essential project management tools and systems, ensuring effective utilization to uphold established processes.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in Engineering Project Management processes to ensure exceptional project execution and discipline.
  • Proven track record as a program/project manager with outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools, schedule development, and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong technical insight and comprehension of fundamental engineering principles, with the ability to simplify complex design and process challenges.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator, skilled in leveraging teamwork and engaging with diverse technical partners.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills to navigate discussions across various audiences.
  • Confident executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
  • A proactive mindset and a willingness to tackle challenges with innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • Resilient and composed under pressure, with a keen interest in addressing complex issues in a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 10% of the time, to meet project demands.
  • Experience in hardware engineering project management, product launches, and driving new product development cycles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (M.S. or PhD) in Engineering or a related technical field with over 7 years of experience in a relevant industry.
  • Familiarity with international and/or regional Product Safety, Environmental, EMC, and Regulatory standards and government affairs is highly advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
  • At Apple, base compensation is just one component of our comprehensive total rewards package, which is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for career progression as you grow within your role. The salary range for this position is between $165,500 and $293,800, influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs. Eligible employees may receive discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
