Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at OSI Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on NPI (New Product Introduction) and Consumer Electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Test Engineering Teams: Lead cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, develop schedules, and track delivery of test solutions.
  • Decompose Test Requirements: Break down complex test and calibration requirements into discrete features with specific dependencies.
  • Schedule Meetings and Track Progress: Coordinate meetings between teams, capture meeting notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Document and Share Learnings: Document build bring-up timelines and deliverables, and share learnings with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Logistics Teams: Work with internal logistics teams and cross-functional EPM teams to coordinate logistics and assess potential bring-up/validation risks.
  • Apply Project Management Methodologies: Utilize project management methodologies and tools to define a repeatable build bring-up tracking process.
Requirements
  • 4-7 Years of Project Management Experience: Proven experience in project management, with a focus on consumer electronics.
  • Ability to Design and Implement PM Processes: Strong ability to design and implement project management processes, decomposing objectives into discrete deliverables.
  • Experience with Cross-Functional Partners: Experience working with cross-functional partners, including hardware and software teams.
  • Robust Understanding of Hardware NPI: Strong understanding of hardware NPI, xVT build cadences, and the role of factory test as it relates to system builds.
  • Track Record of Risk Management: Proven track record of taking proactive steps to uncover, highlight, and bridge risks.
  • Clear and Efficient Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with remote teams.
  • EE Background Preferred: Electrical Engineering background highly preferred.

  • Experience with OEMs: Experience working with OEMs, with expertise in test engineering for embedded products.
