Position Overview:
The primary role of the Reliability Engineer (RE) is to enhance reliability performance while adhering to all relevant standards, procedures, and policies.

The RE focuses on long-term strategic opportunities that positively influence the measured asset capability of PURIS Proteins.

Utilizing advanced reliability technologies and tools, the RE formulates and implements reliability strategies aimed at boosting asset reliability and availability. This role supports site objectives through the development, execution, and analysis of maintenance plans for equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Safety, GMP, PURIS, and other established policies while achieving defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and maintain Equipment Hierarchy and identify Critical Equipment.
- Conduct FMEA to create maintenance plans based on failure modes, including applicable PMs, PdMs, and routine care activities.
- Analyze data effectively and implement timely corrective actions.
- Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities through data trend analysis.
- Manage the Bad Actor Program focused on defect elimination.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) for significant and recurring reliability challenges.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics for proactive resolution of reliability issues.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams focused on reliability improvements.
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance reliability.
- Document and train staff on Standard Jobs as necessary.
- Support maintainability analysis and planning for new equipment.

Additionally, the RE collaborates with Technical Disciplines, Operations, and Maintenance to identify opportunities for improving capacity utilization by revising or replacing equipment or modifying operational and maintenance practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in applying best-practice reliability-focused maintenance methodologies in an industrial setting, with up to 2 years of technical education potentially substituting for in-plant experience.
- Proficient in reliability methodologies such as FMEA, RCA, and statistical downtime analysis.
- Proven track record of implementing effective reliability and maintenance improvements associated with practice changes and equipment upgrades.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in design, engineering, and specification of systems and projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing all levels of management and personnel.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP).
- Certifications in Predictive Maintenance Technologies.
- Over 7 years of experience in Manufacturing with a well-established reliability culture.
