Job Description

CDR General Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for processing payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly payroll for all contractors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain payroll records by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and provide support to employees in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Perform audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and correct any errors before payroll submission.
  • Prepare and process payments for taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other payroll deductions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive payroll information.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure alignment of payroll data with other systems.
  • Handle adjustments to pay related to leaves, overtime, bonuses, and other variable components.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and practices in all applicable regions.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • 2-4 years of payroll experience, with multi-state or international payroll experience being a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and tools (QuickBooks and Excel).
  • Thorough understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and wage-and-hour compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in both languages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Working Conditions:
  • This role may involve sitting for extended periods and working at a computer.
  • May require overtime during peak periods, such as payroll deadlines.
