Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains payroll records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
  • Generates reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
  • Calculates payroll liabilities by determining employee federal and state income taxes, social security taxes, and employer contributions for social security, unemployment, and workers' compensation.
  • Addresses payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing relevant information.
  • Provides payroll information by responding to inquiries and requests.
  • Upholds payroll operations by adhering to policies and procedures; reporting necessary changes.
  • Safeguards employee confidentiality and protects payroll operations by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Contributes to team objectives by achieving related results as needed.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned to fulfill job requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a payroll processing role is required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; strong expertise in Excel is essential.
  • Familiarity with ADP and Kronos is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Stable employment history with positive references from previous employers.
  • Must pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly organization. Previous military experience and proven adherence to procedures is a plus.
