Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team at ASM Global. The successful candidate will have experience with payroll and Time Reporting systems, with a preference for experience in ABI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter data into timekeeping systems on a daily basis.
  • Create schedules in ABI and manage various payroll-related tasks.
  • Review and complete department WIP approvals in ABI.
  • Manage, oversee, and post proper service charge calculations for tipped employees on a bi-weekly period into ABI timekeeping systems.
  • Prepare and input vacation and PTO pay into timekeeping systems.
  • Prepare all checks and review for accuracy.
  • Print and include employee recaps with payroll checks and distribute on payday.
  • Calculate and prepare retroactive pay and payroll discrepancies by performing mathematical calculations and complex data processing tasks rapidly and accurately.
  • Update and achieve paper and electronic payroll records.
  • Address and resolve employee's payroll-related issues.
  • Assist in training new hires in payroll.
  • Train employees with (ESS) Employee Self Service online systems.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including HR department, accounting team, and department managers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination in all payroll-related matters.
Requirements
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience with payroll and Time Reporting systems, ABI preferred.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, long hours, and on weekends.
  • Microsoft Excel skills to create and maintain spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and generate reports.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee documents.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and independently.
