Critical Power Solutions Manager Job Description

This is a critical role for a National Critical Power Solutions Leader who will manage a team and be responsible for providing electrical power system solutions on a national level. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to evaluate, interview, and translate customer requirements into design documents
  • Support the sales team as the technical subject matter expert on critical power equipment and solutions
  • Lead the technical aspects of energy storage projects from inception to completion, including design, planning, implementation, and commissioning phases
  • Deliver power storage projects completed within the scheduled timeline, within budget, with an eye on cost-saving measures without compromising quality and safety

Requirements:

  • BS in engineering, energy management, or equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5+ years of Project Management experience; PMP or relevant certification a plus
  • Proven experience in technical project management within the energy storage industry
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working with Power Systems/Battery storage systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Design, Delivery, Commissioning, and Implementation of Battery Storage and Power equipment within a data center critical facility environment
  • UPS experience working with Emerson/Liebert/Vertiv; APC/MGE/Schneider, Eaton/Powerware/PDI, etc.
  • Battery experience working with MPI Narada, EastPenn, Enersys, etc.
  • Generator experience working with CAT, Kohler, MTU, etc.
