Job Description

As a Telemetry Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing patients with acute cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and electrocardiograms (ECGs)
  • Identifying irregularities in telemetry readings and notifying medical teams
  • Adjusting specialized equipment used on patients and interpreting electronic displays
  • Initiating corrective action when necessary to prevent adverse symptomatology

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of recent experience in telemetry nursing
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • An active state or compact license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
