Position Overview

The role of the Senior Financial Controller encompasses a range of responsibilities critical to the financial health of the organization. This position is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Supervise the corporate accounting functions to guarantee the precise and prompt distribution of financial management reports, including internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and budget preparations.
  • Accounts Payable Management: Direct the processing of financial disbursements, ensuring that accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, and payroll processing are executed accurately and on time.
  • Accounts Receivable Oversight: Manage the accounts receivable processes to ensure timely billing, cash receipt applications, and funding disbursements, along with the preparation of quarterly and year-end payroll closing reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to corporate income tax regulations, overseeing the completion of all tax returns while maximizing benefits from favorable tax codes.
  • System Integrity: Establish and uphold systems and controls that verify the integrity of all financial processes and data, thereby enhancing the organization’s value.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO to provide accurate and timely financial information as needed.
  • Project Participation: Engage in various special projects and compile reports as required.
  • Professional Communication: Maintain courteous and professional interactions with colleagues, management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures within the workplace.
  • Team Management: Oversee office personnel and ensure a productive office environment.
