Salary: $55,000 - $60,000

About the Role:
PrideStaff Greenville is on the lookout for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Specialist for our client situated in the Taylors / Greenville, SC region. This role is multifaceted, involving various accounting responsibilities, job cost accounting, and procurement functions within a dynamic manufacturing setting. The Senior Accounting Specialist will be pivotal in maintaining precise financial records, ensuring efficient job costing, and facilitating timely acquisition of materials and supplies. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive accounting records by accurately tracking and documenting accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process general ledger entries while managing account schedules, including prepaid expenses and fixed assets.
  • Analyze and prepare cash flow reports for management review.
  • Conduct timely reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Ensure accurate financial records and documentation in line with accounting principles and organizational policies.
  • Monitor and analyze job costs to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of project expenses.
  • Generate job cost reports and variance analyses to assess project performance and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of accounting experience in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and knowledgeable in accounting software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with the renewable energy sector and related tax credit documentation is advantageous.
