Position Summary
This role encompasses the comprehensive leadership and management of the facility, focusing on achieving set objectives, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational standards, and overseeing financial and operational stability while demonstrating effective leadership.

Resident Services Management:
Engages with residents and families to address needs effectively. Communicates proactively about any changes or concerns to families, staff, and healthcare professionals.

Responds promptly to residents' physical and emotional needs, ensuring they are met by oneself or the team.

Ensures effective marketing and communication strategies for all service levels while maintaining accessibility and practicing active listening.

Risk Management:
Delegates responsibilities for daily infection prevention and control activities. Provides necessary resources and information to support infection control initiatives. Establishes expectations for data collection and monitoring to manage infections effectively. Cultivates a culture of safety with scheduled inspections and necessary corrections. Ensures that resident rights are upheld and that all stakeholders are informed of these rights. Guarantees compliance with HIPAA regulations. Oversees the implementation of a Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program, leading monthly committee meetings and sponsoring performance improvement projects.

Facilitates access to information and resources to support QAPI initiatives.

The Administrator acts as the Compliance Liaison, assisting the Chief Compliance Officer in executing the Compliance Program.


Communication and Documentation Management:
Conveys ideas clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms. Seeks ongoing feedback regarding performance. Communicates appropriately and timely within the organization. Ensures that documentation and reports comply with regulatory and policy requirements. Clarifies assignments and asks questions as necessary. Keeps supervisors informed and follows the appropriate chain of command when addressing issues or concerns.

Financial and Operational Oversight:
Collaborates with departmental teams and consultants to manage campus operations efficiently.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, ideally in healthcare administration, with coursework in business and human resources.

Experience requirements may vary based on location.

Licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator in the state of practice is mandatory.

Additional licenses may be required based on state regulations and facility needs.
