Position Summary
This role entails comprehensive leadership and management of the facility, ensuring the achievement of set objectives and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing operations, maintaining financial stability, and demonstrating effective leadership.
Resident Services Management:
Engages with residents and families to address their needs effectively. Proactively communicates any necessary updates or concerns to families, staff, and the healthcare community.
Responds promptly to residents' physical and emotional needs, ensuring they are met by oneself or the team.
Ensures effective marketing and communication across all service levels, maintaining accessibility and practicing active listening.Risk Management:
Delegates daily management of infection prevention and control activities. Supplies necessary equipment and information to support infection control initiatives. Establishes expectations for data collection and usage to monitor and manage infections. Cultivates a culture of safety, ensuring regular inspections and necessary corrections. Provides resources to maintain a safe environment and protects resident rights while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Communication and Documentation Management:
Articulates ideas clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms. Seeks ongoing feedback regarding performance and communicates appropriately within the organization. Ensures that documentation meets regulatory requirements and seeks clarification when needed.
Financial and Operational Management:
Collaborates with departmental teams and consultants to oversee campus operations.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in healthcare administration, with coursework in business and human resources.
Experience requirements may vary based on location.
Licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator in the state of practice is mandatory.
Additional licenses may be required based on state regulations and facility needs.
