About The Role:

As a Senior Executive at CBRE, you will take charge of conducting comprehensive market value assessments on various assets, ensuring thorough review by a Managing Director. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire appraisal process for straightforward, unique, or specialized properties, guaranteeing the highest quality of analytical work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to determine the value to be assessed, discussing appraisal requests, challenges to be addressed, and project scope.
  • Select appropriate valuation methodologies and techniques for property assessment.
  • Conduct extensive research and analysis of property data, including comparable properties, sales trends, vacancies, and market offerings.
  • Draft detailed appraisal reports that outline physical and economic characteristics of properties, methodologies employed, and analytical insights; include any extraordinary assumptions and conditions.
  • Enhance your expertise by staying updated on current real estate values and development opportunities, participating in professional growth initiatives.
  • Uphold the organization’s reputation by adhering to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Contribute to company objectives by enriching databases, establishing a resource library, specializing in niche real estate markets, mentoring junior staff, and fostering client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 12 years of experience in commercial appraisal, with a minimum of 3 years in a review capacity. Experience with institutional reviews is advantageous.
  • Possession of a General State Certification/License and MAI designation is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Argus, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with strong writing capabilities.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business documents effectively, and to deliver persuasive presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial real estate terminology and principles, with a comprehensive understanding of valuation approaches for real estate assets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to evaluate various options in complex situations. High-level analytical and quantitative skills are required for developing strategic solutions.
  • Decisions should be made with a thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to meet general objectives and timelines.
