Job Title: Executive Vice President of Finance and Compliance

LACI is seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Finance and Compliance to join our senior management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial management and strategy, as well as overseeing legal and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial management and strategy for LACI and its affiliated entities.
  • Oversee legal and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to policy and procedures.
  • Recommend ongoing operational improvements and oversee risk management and compliance.
  • Work cross-functionally to increase organizational fluency around financial metrics, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Manage and develop a team of talented professionals across finance and compliance departments.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of management and leadership experience with demonstrated progressive responsibilities.
  • Passionate about LACI's mission and able to promote and communicate the mission and values to stakeholders.
  • 7+ years of investment/finance experience.
  • Experience raising capital in a startup or advising capital raises for startups preferred.
  • Deep understanding of investment landscape and investor network in the US.
  • Experience in the cleantech, energy, or mobility/transportation sectors preferred.
