Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Construction to lead our construction operations and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects and leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's operational strategy, aligning with the company's vision and growth objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of capability, safety, quality, and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and other field personnel.
  • Review and approve project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address any potential risks or challenges.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of project management and field operations professionals.
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and advance their careers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication, transparency, and responsiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing field operations, including superintendents and craft workers.
