Human Resources Manager

About the Role:The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing people strategies and programs that align with the company's core values and brand direction.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with ship and shoreside leadership teams to develop and implement people strategies and programs.
- Lead the Human Resources team and create a highly engaged, effective, and team-oriented department.
- Provide consultation and coaching to shipboard management on HR policies and processes.
- Manage harassment and discrimination allegations and conduct prompt and thorough investigations.
- Oversee the Learning & Development function, including the teammate Onboarding and Shipboard Orientation Processes.
- Manage the Internal Transfer Program and Career Progression by providing career counseling to teammates.
- Manage the Crew Welfare & Crew Club function, ensuring there is a balanced offering of social, recreational, and educational programs.
- Act as designated shipboard CARE Officer, partnering with the Medical Department to ensure teammates' well-being.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Adult Education, or related field (or international equivalent).
- Advanced SHRM or CIPD HR Certification is preferred.
- Minimum of Five (5) years' experience in Human Resource Management.
- Experience and awareness of employee relations practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of various international Human Resources standards in compensation, general benefits, employment, and staffing practices.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Leadership ability, strong public speaking skills, professional demeanor, and sound judgement in all decisions and actions.
