Job Overview

Mohawk Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Commercial Lines Insurance Account Executive to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in delivering a variety of innovative solutions tailored to meet clients' insurance and risk management requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing efforts and account oversight for designated clients.
  • Oversee the entire renewal marketing process, collaborating with clients to provide structured program reviews and analyses.
  • Draft account specifications, negotiate pricing, and finalize policy terms.
  • Compile summaries for policy transmission, ensuring timely checks and dispatch.
  • Generate invoices and coordinate with staff to issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Evidence of Insurance (EOIs) efficiently to satisfy both client and vendor expectations.
  • Develop account proposals for client presentations.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in coverage areas and current market trends.
  • Clarify and explain coverage documents to clients.
  • Oversee account services, directing related activities.
  • Enhance existing accounts by introducing new coverage options.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for each account, adhering strictly to E&O procedures.
  • Handle complex accounts with proficiency.
  • Perform additional duties and specialized technical projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Possession of a Property & Casualty Insurance license is mandatory.
  • CIC or equivalent designations such as CPCU or ARM are preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an Account Management role within the insurance sector.
  • Demonstrated analytical, marketing, and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with AMS 360 Agency management system is advantageous.
