Position Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Procurement Specialist to join our vibrant Supply Chain/Procurement team at Revolution, a prominent cannabis retail chain.

The successful candidate will assist the team with data entry and record management while providing administrative support across Inventory Management and Vendor Relations.

This role is crucial for maintaining precise records, ensuring timely procurement of products, and supporting the procurement team with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Record Management:
    • Accurately input procurement data into our record systems, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory updates.
    • Maintain organized and detailed procurement records, ensuring all data is current and easily retrievable.
    • Verify and reconcile data to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to gather product information, pricing, and availability.
    • Monitor and track the status of orders and deliveries, keeping the procurement team informed.
    • Act as the liaison between the Procurement group and the FP&A team regarding all purchasing matters.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Help monitor inventory levels and generate reports to ensure optimal stock levels.
    • Collaborate with the inventory team to address discrepancies and resolve product availability issues.
    • Process returns and credit requests in conjunction with retail teams.
  • Vendor Relations:
    • Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues related to orders and invoices.
    • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely product procurement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • CPSM or CPM Certifications preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in data entry, administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis industry is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central is a plus but not required.
