Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our production development team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing new manufacturing processes, equipment, and fixtures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize new manufacturing processes, equipment, and fixtures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Perform process capability studies to ensure manufacturing processes are in control.
- Responsible for accuracy of product routing and times.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
- Continuously improve the production floor through standardizing manufacturing methods.
- Provide technical assistance for applicable departments to ensure the smooth operation of processes.
- Work with manufacturing specialists to troubleshoot existing molds, processes, and equipment.
- Work with tool engineering to complete proofing of all new tooling.
- Provide departments with process input for new and redesigned products.
- Manage long-term capital improvement projects.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience and 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience in process development, and/or lean manufacturing methods desired.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40lbs, perform bending, twisting, reaching motions, pull/push functions, and perform repetitive operations.
- Must be comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
