Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Audit Consultant to join our Commercial Audit team, with the flexibility to work from various locations. We desire a candidate who flourishes in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop budgets for each engagement.
  • Lead client engagements, including pre-audit planning.
  • Evaluate client accounting practices, operational procedures, and internal control systems.
  • Conduct audit tests to ensure accurate representation of client financial statements.
  • Document workpapers and create accounting worksheets.
  • Research technical issues as needed.
  • Review workpapers and programs prepared by staff.
  • Identify challenges and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Keep management informed about the status of engagements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure timely and efficient audit completion.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff throughout engagements.
  • Assess staff performance for engagement evaluations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of audit and/or assurance experience.
  • Experience working with commercial clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification or progress towards completion.
  • Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
