We are currently seeking professionals for our Corporate Audit division. As a Senior Audit Supervisor, you will collaborate with our audit teams at various levels, serving a diverse and innovative client portfolio. Our clientele includes technology startups, established private firms, and publicly traded companies. This role offers the opportunity to engage directly with sophisticated clients and gain insights into emerging trends in the Silicon Valley landscape. Our clients represent a broad spectrum of industries at different stages of development, primarily within the technology sector.
We are open to considering California-based remote work arrangements, which will be tailored to individual circumstances. Alternatively, candidates may opt to work from our offices in San Jose, San Francisco, or San Diego, should they reside nearby or wish to relocate. Start dates are flexible.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee client audit engagements, encompassing planning, execution, direction, and completion of financial audits.
- Manage multiple audit projects while supervising teams of 2-4 staff members.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of AICPA, PCAOB, and generally accepted auditing standards, along with common audit procedures and techniques.
- Guide, train, and mentor associates and interns.
- Conduct research and analysis on financial statement and audit-related matters.
- Report findings to Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, accounting, or a related field with a focus on accounting.
- Active California CPA certification/license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a combination of public accounting and specialized financial audit experience with private and/or public entities.
- Experience serving as the primary contact for clients.
- Exemplary professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness, coupled with a collaborative attitude.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
The salary range for this position is $103,000. The highest range is reserved for the most qualified candidates.
