Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences? Do you have excellent communication skills and a warm smile? We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Part Time Front Desk Agent to join our team

The estimated salary for this role is $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for creating a memorable experience for our guests by providing personalized service, resolving issues efficiently, and promoting our hotel's services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
  • Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Select and block rooms for arriving guests, book same-day reservations, pre-register guests as required, and sometimes escort guests to their rooms
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
  • Receive payment from and check out hotel guests
  • Work closely with guest services agents to coordinate the smooth and efficient handling of guest luggage at both check-in and check-out
  • Familiarize yourself with baggage tagging procedures and ski storage procedures
  • Deliver messages, packages, or other items to guest rooms or other areas of the hotel expeditiously, placing in designated areas
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the Lobby and Luggage storeroom
  • Create unique baskets or special amenities for special guests
  • Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations
  • Recommend restaurants and activities to guests
  • Make change, post charges, reconcile daily work, and make deposits
  • Communicate with guests and coworkers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year of customer/guest experience preferred
