Job Overview

ANSER is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Office of the DoD Chief Information Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative systems, calendar management, and correspondence management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership, including calendar management, email management, and document preparation.
  • Manage correspondence and task management systems, ensuring timely and accurate responses to correspondence and tasks.
  • Develop and maintain internal suspense tracking systems for correspondence, memos, letters, and other documents and projects received.
  • Provide written products in accordance with DoD M Vol 1 and DoD M Vol 2.
  • Assist with in-processing new personnel, requesting and managing government furnished equipment, and resolving IT and network issues.
  • Off-board departing personnel and maintain suite access, SCIF maintenance, and burn bag destruction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus at least 10 years of related experience or HS Diploma with at least 14 years of related experience.
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI required at date of hire.
  • Ability to provide on-site support, with potential for telework depending on client on-site requirements.
  • Expert level knowledge and execution of the English language for the formulation of all DoD correspondence mediums.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting in an Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)/Joint Staff/Interagency environment.
  • Knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSD and the Components.
  • Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
