Regional Sales Manager for Encoders

Job Summary

This role is responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining existing customer relationships within the Encoders business. The successful candidate will be a strategic sales professional with a strong understanding of the drive system and industrial automation markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and execute sales plans to achieve assigned targets and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities and increasing sales activity.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to execute marketing programs and lead follow-up activities.
  • Develop new projects and opportunities based on customer requirements, interacting with Marketing and R&D for new product developments.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including sales quota achievement and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years' experience in the drive system/industrial automation and controls field.
  • Specific knowledge of encoders and motion control is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve assigned budget and performance metrics.
  • Strategic selling skills, including experience managing channels and prospecting for new business development.
Working Conditions

This role is based at home, with travel up to 50% required. A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
