Job Overview:
The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing the complete cement production process. This role involves analyzing operations and recommending enhancements to optimize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety protocols within the plant.
- Evaluate the cement manufacturing process from raw materials to final milling, implementing improvements for enhanced fuel and electrical efficiency as well as production rates.
- Utilize pyro-processing knowledge to execute regular tasks effectively.
- Assist in training control room operators on the correct operation of plant machinery.
- Collaborate with shift process teams to ensure optimal performance of mills and pyro lines.
- Program and maintain the plant's control systems, ensuring documentation and improvements for computerized processes.
- Conduct performance assessments and maintain records of equipment performance, including wear part life history.
- Provide technical assistance to the Production Department to maximize quality-controlled cement production in a cost-effective manner.
- Optimize production areas through testing, data collection, and applying in-house expertise for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions and solve problems with precision and attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently while organizing and prioritizing tasks.
- Knowledge of pyro-processing, thermodynamics, heat transfer, airflow, and related principles.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and instrumentation techniques.
