Job Overview:
The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing the entire cement production process. This role involves analyzing operations and recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and promote all safety protocols within the plant.
- Evaluate the cement manufacturing process from raw material handling to final milling, implementing changes to optimize fuel and electrical efficiency as well as production rates.
- Utilize expertise in pyro-processing to fulfill regular duties and assist in training control room operators on equipment usage.
- Collaborate with shift process teams to ensure that mills and pyro lines operate at maximum efficiency.
- Program and maintain the plant's automated control systems, ensuring proper documentation and continuous improvement of computerized processes.
- Conduct performance assessments and maintain records of equipment performance, including wear part life history.
- Provide technical assistance to the Production Department to maximize the output of quality-controlled cement in a cost-effective manner.
- Optimize process areas through testing, data collection, and the application of internal expertise to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions and solve problems with a keen attention to detail.
- Capable of organizing and prioritizing work independently.
- Knowledgeable in pyro-processing, thermodynamics, heat transfer, airflow, and related principles.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and instrumentation techniques.
