Overview

We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Daily Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction while fostering a culture of continuous improvement to meet internal performance objectives within an ISO quality framework. Your responsibilities will include acting as a liaison for troubleshooting between customers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Your Role Includes:
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of systems to improve the Quality Management System.
  • Addressing quality-related issues within the Manufacturing team, including internal, supplier, and customer concerns.
  • Providing on-site support as necessary, analyzing returned materials to determine the root causes of customer issues, and advising on corrective measures.
  • Collaborating with Process Engineering and Product Development Teams to evaluate and enhance business process efficiency.
  • Maintaining clear communication with customers.
  • Generating reports on corrective actions for both customers and internal purposes.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Tracking and reporting Key Performance Indicators for management assessments.
  • Assisting Product Development in the approval of new or modified products.
  • Coordinating essential laboratory tests for products.
  • Promoting a workplace culture that aligns with company values and regulations.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

Your Expertise:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a large automotive, chemical, textile, or fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in a TS16949-based manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience as a Quality Engineer in the automotive industry, demonstrating knowledge of PPAP, APQP, 8Ds, and TS quality systems.
  • A comprehensive understanding of automotive quality processes from APQP launch to customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis.
Preferred Qualifications for:
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Possession of a CQE or CQM certification from ASQ or a similar organization.
