Overview

Audacy San Diego is seeking a dedicated National Sales Coordinator to oversee the management and implementation of the National Sales operations. This position is available in a hybrid format, allowing for remote work across various markets.

Responsibilities

Key Duties Include:

The National Sales Coordinator will engage in the following tasks, either independently or by supporting the National Sales Division:

  • Serve as the main liaison for the VP of MultiMarket Sales within designated markets for all national sales inquiries.
  • Act as the station representative for national client requests, collaborating closely with the representative firm.
  • Input, modify, and manage National Orders within the Wide Orbit system.
  • Ensure accurate order and line coding for all national orders.
  • Process purchase orders and gather any missing materials for National Accounts.
  • Generate daily reports on missing materials to ensure timely application.
  • Lead outreach efforts to national representatives to collect necessary materials.
  • Daily entry of materials and spots into vCreative for production purposes.
  • Coordinate with station talent to create national endorsement materials.
  • Work with internal market contacts to evaluate talent for national endorsements.
  • Handle a high volume of email communications efficiently.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of Traffic/Continuity contacts for National Accounts.
  • Distribute pre/post log times to National Clients upon request.
  • Collect air-checks as needed and distribute to National Clients.
  • Manage all preempted spots for National Accounts in Wide Orbit, including rebooking or crediting as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication with national representatives regarding makegood and credited national spots.
  • Address all aspects of Invoice Discrepancies, including research and communication with corporate billing.
  • Submit requests for memo bills and invoice adjustments.
  • Maintain a database of contacts for National Accounts and oversee the National Collections Process.
  • Create presentations using Google Slides and/or PowerPoint for promotional initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to gather essential information for the national sales team.
  • Act as the local point of contact for executing all national sales campaigns, including contests, sponsorships, and talent endorsements.
  • Prepare recap presentations for national promotions.
  • Provide backup support for markets when coordinators are unavailable.

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • The ideal candidate should actively participate in the sales process, offering not only administrative support but also creative insights and feedback.
  • Must possess a vibrant personality, excellent time management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks for various stakeholders.
  • Endurance, patience, and superior time and project management capabilities are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in computer applications, particularly Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides), are required.

Additional Information

Compensation Transparency:

The expected starting salary range for candidates in California is between $50,000 and $55,000 annually. The final salary will be determined based on education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
