Patient Services Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our Oncology Clinic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient schedules, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments, either by telephone or in person, and provide information about clinic operations.
- Check In/Check Out: Greet patients, accept payments, and prepare encounter forms and billing packets.
- Filing and Organization: Pull patient charts, copy medical records, and file patient charts.
- Referrals and Authorizations: Verify insurance eligibility, secure referrals, and collect proof of income.
- Miscellaneous: Dispense supplies, notify staff of low supplies, and perform related work as required.
Requirements:
- 1 or more years of professional work experience required.
- 2 or more years of experience in customer service preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
