Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at INTEGRIS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Collect and process patient payments, including copays and deductibles
  • Make financial arrangements for patients and verify insurance eligibility
  • Perform check-in and check-out duties accurately and efficiently
  • Make appointments for visits and notify clinical staff of emergencies
  • Enter patient demographics into our practice management system
  • Take clear and concise messages from pharmacies, physicians, and hospital personnel
  • Manage high call volumes while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette
Requirements
  • 1 year of clerical experience preferred
  • Experience with cashier procedures, basic accounting, and health insurance terminology
  • 6 months of customer service experience and 6 months of telephone customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
