Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Retail Pharmacy

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, and promoting health and wellness in our communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and health education.
- Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, including compounding, verification, and review.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to promote health and wellness in our communities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
