About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacist (Full or Part Time), you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
  • Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Conduct clinical and wellness services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and disease state management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and services.
  • Participate in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procedures to optimize pharmacy operations and improve patient experience.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
