Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our retail pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide personalized medication counseling and education to patients, ensuring they understand the proper use and potential side effects of their medications.
  • Medication Management: Review and verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient pharmacy operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Licensure: Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience: At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
