Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Retail Pharmacy

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, and promoting a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services
- Ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications
- Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and assist the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials and inventory management
- Engage patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolve patient issues in a timely manner and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience
- Model and share customer service best practices with all team members
- Connect with patients by anticipating needs and proactively offering services
- Participate in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring and training
- Reinforce the direction of Pharmacy Manager in staff performance by coaching and providing constructive feedback
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
