Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Retail Pharmacy Professional

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert patient care and counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Conduct clinical and wellness services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and disease state management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy technology and systems, including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, and clinical documentation.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
