Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription dispensing, and promoting a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to patients, including medication counseling and education on proper medication use.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of prescriptions, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other pharmacy staff to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote health and wellness.
  • Assist in the management of pharmacy operations, including inventory management and staff supervision.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
