Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, dispensing medications, and promoting health and wellness in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical services, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and disease state management.
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners to promote health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team members to optimize pharmacy operations, improve patient satisfaction, and enhance business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, including new medications, technologies, and treatment guidelines.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
