About the Role
The Financial Education Facilitator, under the guidance of the Campus Director, plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional training and instruction to individuals enrolled in the financial education program. This position encompasses the creation of educational materials, teaching essential financial concepts, evaluating student progress, and ensuring the program adheres to professional standards. The facilitator will mentor and assist learners in preparing for fruitful careers in finance.

Key Responsibilities
Instruction and Curriculum Design
  • Conduct engaging and informative lectures, practical training sessions, and interactive exercises covering topics such as bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll management, accounts receivable/payable, and financial software applications.
  • Design and revise educational materials to ensure they reflect current industry practices and standards.
  • Develop and execute lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that promote learning and skill enhancement.
Student Evaluation and Support
  • Assess student performance through examinations, projects, and practical assignments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to facilitate students' academic and professional development.
  • Offer tutoring services to boost student success.
  • Provide academic guidance and support to assist students in reaching their educational and career aspirations.
Compliance and Program Integrity
  • Ensure that the program complies with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Prepare students for industry-recognized certifications.
Record Keeping and Administrative Duties
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
  • Engage in faculty meetings, curriculum review sessions, and other departmental activities.
  • Assist with student recruitment, orientation, and retention initiatives.
Community and Industry Collaboration
  • Build and sustain relationships with finance and accounting industry partners.
  • Coordinate with internship providers to offer students practical experience.
  • Promote the program and its advantages to potential students and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.
  • Certification in financial software applications is required.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, bookkeeping practices, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems.
Work Environment
  • This role typically involves working in a classroom or training environment.
  • May require occasional travel for professional development opportunities.
