About the Role

As a Patient Access Representative at Community Health Network, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors entering our facilities. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check-in and out patients, ensuring accurate and efficient registration processes
  • Schedule appointments, verify demographics, and manage insurance information
  • Provide telephone coverage, respond to patient inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Enter data accurately, manage authorizations, and facilitate pre-registration processes
  • Collect point-of-service payments and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional care
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in customer service or a healthcare office setting
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and a team player mindset
  • Proficient in data entry with multiple software applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
