Role Overview
The Patient Access Representative is a vital role, acting as the initial point of interaction for visitors at our facilities. This position encompasses a variety of customer service responsibilities, including:
- Managing check-in and check-out processes.
- Scheduling appointments and handling registrations.
- Verifying patient demographics and insurance details.
- Providing telephone support and performing data entry tasks.
- Processing authorizations and new patient referrals.
- Collecting payments at the point of service.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred two years of experience in a customer service or healthcare environment.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
