Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative I to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for interviewing patients and families to obtain registration information, entering accurate data, and ensuring seamless patient flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough interviews with patients and families to gather registration information, including demographic data and insurance details.
- Enter accurate and complete data into our registration system, ensuring no duplication of existing medical records.
- Process pre-service payments, counsel patients on financial waivers, and collect co-payments.
- Identify patient liabilities and process fiscal procedures related to registration.
- Complete computer and telephone pre-registrations to maintain efficient patient flow.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (preferred) or High School Diploma/GED/Professional/Vocational/Trade Training (required).
Travel Requirements
This role requires minimal travel, with opportunities to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
