Compensation Structure:
- Experienced technicians (A & B levels): $22-40 per flat rate hour.
- Entry-level technicians (C & D levels): $17-20 per flat rate hour.
Pay rates are determined by experience and qualifications.

Our technicians enjoy a steady flow of work with no limits on hours, allowing for maximum earning potential.


Service Department Hours:
Monday to Friday: 7 AM - 6 PM, Saturday: 7 AM - 5 PM.

About Our Workshop:

High-Volume Service Center:
Our service department features a central dispatch system with 8 advisors, handling an average of 4,000 repair orders, ensuring a consistent workflow.
We have 44 service bays and 8 quick lube racks, providing ample space for our technicians.
Our parts team is highly qualified, with organized staging areas for upcoming jobs and dedicated parts runners to support active projects.
Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and equipment, including specialized Ford tools, in a climate-controlled environment with modern lighting.
We foster a professional and enjoyable workplace culture where technicians collaborate and support one another in a fast-paced yet relaxed atmosphere.
Our leadership is supportive, with a focus on customer satisfaction and a family-friendly approach.

The Automotive Service Specialist is responsible for executing automotive repairs and services in line with company and manufacturer standards.

This role requires swift and accurate diagnosis and resolution of automotive issues. The specialist collaborates with service personnel and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
The Automotive Service Specialist reports directly to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute work as specified on repair orders with precision and efficiency, adhering to company and manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose malfunctions effectively.
- Complete all tasks in compliance with safety protocols.
- Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
- Accurately log time spent on repairs using company timekeeping methods.
- Document work performed and test results on repair orders.

Maintain an inventory of essential tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, and other necessary equipment not typically provided by the service department.

Return specialized tools to their designated locations.
Utilize shop supplies responsibly and maintain a clean workspace, performing daily stall cleanings.
Ensure that customer vehicles are returned in the same condition as received.
Complete all required training and maintain necessary certifications.
Engage in technical training as assigned by management and review relevant technical bulletins.
Communicate effectively with dealership personnel to meet customer needs.

Report any safety or operational concerns to management promptly.

Uphold personal grooming and uniform standards as per departmental policies. Arrive at work and take breaks as scheduled by management.

Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication skills.

Competencies:
- Ability to perform repairs independently in various areas, including:
- Maintenance Services
- Engine Repair
- Suspension and Steering Repair
- Brake Repair
- Electrical Systems Repair
- Heating and A/C Repair

Certifications:
- Manufacturer certification in all areas listed above.
- Minimum of 3 ASE certifications (preferably an ASE Master Technician).

Customer Pay Proficiency:
- Greater than 105% Customer Pay Repairs.
- 3 to 5 years of automotive technical experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Up to 2/3 of the time: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Up to 2/3 of the time: sitting, kneeling, reaching, talking, hearing.
