Sales Specialist

The Inside Sales Specialist position is a key role within our organization, responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the water, wastewater, and industrial markets. This individual will utilize phone and electronic communication to increase sales of products and/or services, while developing sales strategies to demonstrate the features and benefits of our offerings.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain relationships with customers to identify sales opportunities and close deals.
- Collaborate with marketing, support, community management, product management, and account management teams to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
- Ensure handoffs to community management, development, and support are successful, and exceed customers' satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics.
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree in a technical or business discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in sales, sales support, customer service, public speaking, or training roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Results-driven and organized, with a focus on meeting sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
This role operates in a professional office environment, with regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this role include regular talking and hearing, with occasional standing, walking, and reaching. The employee must be able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting and moving of objects up to 10 pounds.
TravelTravel is minimal, with occasional offsite supplier training and tradeshows.
