Overview:
Amazon Business (AB) is in search of a Senior Financial Strategist to enhance its HealthCare & Reseller divisions, which are integral to our US Commercial operations.

Role Responsibilities:
This pivotal business partnership position will focus on developing growth strategies through insightful analysis, establishing objectives for sustainable profitability, and overseeing topline and P&L management, including the financial evaluation of substantial deals.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with leading and coordinating the comprehensive financial planning cycle alongside the business team, fostering a profound understanding of business drivers to integrate them into financial models.

Key Duties Include:
- Establishing new metrics to target business outcomes and creating automated reporting systems to monitor progress against these metrics.
- Conducting ROI analyses for customized customer agreements and effectively communicating findings to leadership teams.

This role will also contribute to the formulation of innovative programs and sales strategies aimed at accelerating growth.

Daily Responsibilities:
The position demands a high level of curiosity and a proactive approach to understanding customer needs within a dynamic, startup-like environment.

The individual will manage one or more cross-CPS projects and analyses, providing broad visibility to senior leadership within AB.

Furthermore, this role requires the ability to clearly convey the financial implications and insights derived from analyses to influence senior management decisions.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- A BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a similar analytical discipline, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of finance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- An MBA, CPA, or CMA designation.
- Proficiency in SQL/ETL and experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
- Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is determined by several factors, including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
