At John C. Cassidy Holding Company, we have been a trusted name in the HVAC industry for over six decades. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated Lead Financial Strategist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our financial management and reporting processes. Your analytical skills will be vital in producing insightful financial and operational reports that will be utilized by Senior Leadership, Board of Directors, Private Equity partners, and financial institutions. Your main duties will include:

  • Collaborating with the Operations team to design and deliver comprehensive financial reports and executive KPI (Key Performance Indicator) dashboards.
  • Preparing monthly financial reporting packages that reflect our business performance.
  • Assisting in the forecasting process by gathering data, analyzing trends, and working closely with department leaders to establish key assumptions.
  • Contributing to the budgeting process and associated projects.
  • Gaining insights into various business areas to uncover new analytical opportunities that enhance operational performance.
  • Creating detailed materials for senior leadership and the executive board that analyze current and future business trends, capital market dynamics, and strategic alternatives.
  • Utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools to compile and interpret raw data, identifying trends and performance insights.
  • Developing and maintaining intricate financial projection models for significant projects and initiatives.
  • Working independently while contributing to various business-related activities as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of finance and a solid grasp of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). You should demonstrate a professional demeanor and a collaborative, team-oriented approach, coupled with the ability to work autonomously and provide original insights. Key qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial planning and analysis.
  • A proactive attitude towards receiving and implementing feedback.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and managing large datasets.
  • Experience in analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful KPIs that drive business performance.
  • Familiarity with Service Titan or Sage Intaact is preferred.
