Position Overview

The Lead Financial Strategist position is essential for ensuring financial precision and guiding strategic choices within the company. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including performing in-depth variance analysis, aiding in the formulation and oversight of budgets, generating precise financial projections, and playing a key role in the month-end closing activities. This position requires exceptional analytical capabilities, expertise in financial modeling, and effective teamwork across different departments to deliver critical financial insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Execute thorough variance analysis to assess actual financial outcomes against planned and projected figures.

· Recognize, evaluate, and interpret trends or patterns in intricate data sets to identify primary factors influencing financial performance.

· Support the creation and consolidation of annual financial plans.

· Collaborate with multiple departments to collect and analyze financial data for budget formulation.

· Create both short-term and long-term financial forecasts utilizing historical data, economic indicators, and departmental feedback.

· Revise and sustain forecasting models to adapt to evolving business requirements and market dynamics.

· Aid in month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must be capable of fulfilling each essential function effectively. The qualifications listed below reflect the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Education and Experience:

· A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution is mandatory.

· Experience in Public Accounting, a Master's degree, and/or CPA certification is advantageous but not essential.

· A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, or alternatively, 3+ years in Public Accounting.

· Strong expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

· Outstanding communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
