Network Technician Job Description

At Custom Computer Specialists, we are seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team. As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks, including wired and wireless networks, IP video surveillance systems, and desktop and laptop deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Configure and troubleshoot network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Install and configure IP video surveillance systems
  • Deploy and configure desktop and laptop computers
  • Manage and maintain network cables and infrastructure
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in network installation and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Industry certifications (A+, networking and security) A +
