About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Assistant Habilitation Specialist to join our team at WellLife Network. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and maximizing their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the operation of the classroom, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for participants.
  • Implement goals designed to enhance and support each participant's social responsibility, independence, dignity, and continued growth.
  • Monitor participants' progress by collecting and documenting performance data, and provide behavioral interventions when necessary.
  • Participate in various appointments and activities, such as medical and psychiatric appointments, as required.
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Valid NYS driver's license required for driving roles.
